I swear I thought this was... photoshoped or something. His face is PERFECT! If it weren't for the pencil-lined jacket I wouldn't believe it was a drawing.

What pencils did you use?

Thanks! Something is wrong with my scanner or else you would be able to see more of the pencil lines :-/ I just use a regular mechanical pencil, paper blenders (2 sizes) and q-tips.

WOW! Must be a nice mech pencil cuz mine don't ever come out that dark. I have to stick with soft pencils like 4B.

Thanks ^_^ When I first started drawing (8yrs ago) I only had a mechanical pencil, so I've just gotten used to it. I've found you can make it softer and smooth or harder and fine.

I know! I've only been drawing people for... 4 years now. I used to draw with only a regular HB pecil.

Then I got my set of pencils and my face was like

You can get darker marks witht these!
